Late last year I had a very good condition, but high mileage and non London Ulez compliant, Mercedes SL500 Special Edition to sell. A web trawl brought up Montpellier Motorcars as having sold one a couple of years ago - and thus I got to meet Chris Page.

It’s not often anyone buys a car sight unseen from their hospital bed, but that’s what I did. The description of the car was extensive and accurate, backed up with clear photos and arguably, a lesson for other classic car operators.
I bought it without a test drive and was indeed delighted with my drive home!
It has been a pleasure purchasing my immaculate Mercedes 300SL from Chris at Montpelier Motor Cars in Greet. Buying remotely it was critical to have good communication and establish trust with the seller.
