A genuinely exceptional example of the air-cooled 911 SC Sport, finished in Grand Prix White with iconic Martini Racing livery and specified as a UK-only Sports Group Package car.
The 911 SC marked an important chapter in Porsche’s history, broadening the model’s appeal with more manageable power delivery and useful driver-focused upgrades, while retaining the essential character that made the 911 so distinctive. The Sport model — with its whale-tail spoiler, front spoiler, 16" Fuchs alloys, sports seats and uprated suspension — went on to become one of the most desirable variants of the air-cooled era.
This particular example has been used and enjoyed as intended, rather than simply stored away and has benefited from decades of documented care. This includes a four-year partial restoration completed in 2006, followed by consistent mechanical attention ever since.
The car is fitted with its original 2,994cc air-cooled flat-six, which has benefited from a top-end overhaul and is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. It is accompanied by decades of supporting paperwork, including the original sales invoices and an extensive file of invoices recording work carried out and parts purchased throughout its life.
